What will you learn?

How Coaches Evaluate Hitters

Evaluating hitters is one of the hardest things a college coach has to do. We're going to break down several things coaches look for.

Researching different programs

Different programs like different 'types' of players. A big reason why is their home park. We will discuss how you learn about different programs and what type of players they like.

How Coaches Evaluate Pitchers

Pitching is more of a science than hitting. Certain pitching coaches like to see specific metrics of pitchers. Others, not as much. We will break down several examples of both scenarios in this section.

The Recruiting Timeline

The timeline of when each division recruits players is very important to understand. This will help you understand the entire recruiting process as a whole.

How To Communicate With Coaches

The easiest way to separate yourself from other recruits is how you communicate with coaches. We will talk through what TO say and what NOT say to a college coach.

Scholarship Money (Academic/Athletic)

Scholarship money can be acquired in more ways than one. We will discuss several different options.

The Future of College Baseball

Understanding what the future might look like, will help shape the way you pick the school you attend.

Who's Behind This?

Hi, I'm Patrick Jones.

I help educate parents and players on the college baseball recruiting process.

For the past four years, I have been guiding players in the college recruiting process, from reaching out to college coaches on their behalf to advising them on how to communicate with different coaches.

I want to share some of the things I've learned with you. I am a former hitting coach in the Baltimore Orioles organization and currently reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.

At this event, I have bundled everything I have learned over the last four years into a simple, applicable package that will help you in your recruiting journey immediately.
